J15 Boys Represent The Region at JIRR

Today, our J15 boys’ coxed quad proudly represented the WAGS & Wales region at the Junior Interregional Regatta. Following a strong qualifying performance at the Scullery Head last term and representing the region last year, the crew came into the event ready to build on their success.

In bright sunshine and near-ideal conditions, the boys faced tough competition from the best crews across the country. Their improvements over the past few months showed clearly today: they produced a clean race, staying synced together as a crew and maintaining technique to the end.

The crew finished 11th overall — a fantastic achievement at a national event, reflecting their commitment, teamwork, and the progress they have made over the season. They should be proud of how they represented both their club and the WAGS & Wales region with spirit and determination.

A huge well done to the crew, and thanks as always to our coaches and supporters for making days like this possible. We look forward to seeing what’s next for these athletes!
